"A few have got to open it up." At times, though, the other "milieu" suddenly appears: "An instant marvel.... A state in which time no longer has the same reality, it's very peculiar.... an innumerable present. Another way of living." 80 years earlier, a little girl had undergone her first revolution of matter: "When I was told that everything was made up of "atoms", it caused a sort of revolution in my head: Why. nothing is real, then!" A second revolution takes place at the level of the cellular consciousness: the old matter and its apparent laws change into a new world and a new way of being in the body.

Je vois toujours cette vision que j'ai eue.1 C'est curieux, cela a été l’une des visions les plus inattendues dans le sens que je n'avais aucune préparation mentale: j'ai vu tout d'un coup ce Sannyasin, acculé à un mur, avec une sorte d'ouragan qui venait contre lui. C'était un ouragan de bruits, de clameurs... On ne voyait rien; on ne voyait rien que la force des vibrations qui montaient comme un orage, et il était acculé et c'était comme un vent de tempête, et puis il y avait un gouffre en face.
Et ça a tellement frappé quelque chose, ma vision, que chaque fois qu'on dit «Sannyasin», je vois ça. C'est curieux... Adossé contre un mur: là, il y a le ciel; là, il y a un précipice; et là, il y a les clameurs et le vent et l’orage – comme des tourbillons ramassés sur la terre par l’orage. Avec ça et le vent qui souffle la robe et... il se jette dans le vide.
Le dos contre le mur, sur le haut d'une colline. Pas haute montagne: une colline. Sur le haut d'une colline: on voit la pente de la terre qui fait comme cela, le mur du monastère.
Cette vision est encore vivante et claire-claire... Je pourrais presque faire une illustration pour la couverture de ton livre!
C'est très symbolique, d'ailleurs: l’orage de la révolte, n'est-ce pas, la révolte de LA TERRE contre le principe du Sannyasin. C'est très symbolique. Et c'est une image magnifique dans le sens qu'il y a une grande majesté dans l’apparence.
