Mother, in her body, emerges into a 'third position' - resembling the quantum world - a 'third cellular position' in which you become incapable of dying because death no longer has any reality.
The course of the year 1962.... the year of the Kennedy-Khrushchev confrontation over Cuba and the first Sino-Indian conflict: "Could it be the first sign of something really.... momentous? It seems to have profoundly disrupted something central." The entire earth is disrupted. It is the year when Mother, in her body, emerges into a "third position", neither life nor death as we know them, but another side of the "web" where the laws of our physics no longer hold, and which strangely resembles the quantum world of Black Holes: time changes, space changes, death changes. Could this be the material place, in the body, where the laws of the world - which exist only in our heads - become inverted and where evolution opens out into an unthinkable body freedom, a third position, that of the next species on earth?.... "The body is beginning to obey another law. The sense of time disappears into a moving immobility.... A mass of infinite force, like pure superelectricity..... An undulating movement of corporeal waves, as vast as the earth.... All the organs have changed, they belong to another rhythm. Such a formidable power, so free! It's something else.... something else! I don't know if I am living or dead.... The nature of my nights is changing, the nature of my days is changing.... The physical vibration is becoming porous.... No more axis - it's gone, vanished! It can go forward, backwards, anywhere at all.... Ubiquity, or something of the sort." And then this cry: "Death is an illusion, illness is an illusion! Life and death are one and the same thing. It's merely a shifting of consciousness. Why, it's fantastic!" And then this simple discovery in the flesh: "The closer you draw to the cell, the more the cell says, 'Ah, but I am immortal!' "A third cellular position in which you become incapable of dying because death no longer has any reality." Has Mother, at the age of 84, discovered another material reality? "There, behind, it's like a fairy tale....Something very beautiful is in preparation, ineffably beautiful - a lovely story that Sri Aurobindo was trying to bring onto earth, and it is sure to come!"
Ich sah, daß die verschiedenen Entwicklungsetappen in Zeitabschnitten von zwölf Jahren stattfanden. Ich erinnere mich nicht mehr an die genauen Daten, aber es geschah in Abschnitten von zwölf Jahren. Der erste, ungefähr von 5 bis 18 Jahren (ich begann mit fünf, davor kann ich nichts aussagen), war die Zeit des Bewußtseins. Dann die ganze künstlerische und vitale Entwicklung, die ihren Endpunkt in der okkulten Entwicklung mit Theon fand (ich glaube, ich begegnete ihm 1905 oder 1906 [[Mutter traf Theon zum ersten Mal 1904 in Paris. Dann besuchte sie ihn 1905 und 1906 in Tlemcen.]] ). Dann begann eine intensive geistige Entwicklung, ungefähr um diese Zeit, von 1908 bis ca. 1920, etwas früher, aber hauptsächlich, bevor ich 1914 hierher kam.
Von 1920 an war es deutlich die volle Entwicklung, nicht die spirituelle Entwicklung, denn die hatte von Anfang an stattgefunden, aber die AKTION, die Aktion mit Sri Aurobindo. Das geschah mit Bestimmtheit von 1920 an. Ich begegnete Sri Aurobindo vorher, aber in ihrem vollen Ausmaß begann sie erst 1920 [[Nach ihrer Rückkehr von Japan im April 1920.]].
Und die Verwirklichung des inneren Gottes?
Die Daten... Ich bin nicht gut in Daten! Ich habe keine Aufzeichnungen mehr, die mir genaue Hinweise geben könnten. Aber die Verwirklichung des inneren Gottes muß um 1911 gewesen sein, denn da begann ich meine Meditationen zu schreiben [[Die ersten Prières et Méditations stammen vom November 1912.]]. Doch das ist eine fortlaufende Sache, seit ich ganz klein war, aber zuerst mit der Betonung auf dem Bewußtsein, dann auf dem Vital und dem Ästhetischen, dann auf dem Mental. Schließlich der Endpunkt für die Handlung hier, 1920.
Von 1911, 1912 bis 1914 geschah die ganze Vorbereitung, die inneren Erfahrungen, die psychischen Erfahrungen, die mich auf die Begegnung mit Sri Aurobindo vorbereiteten (das geschah demnach parallel zur mentalen Entwicklung).
Praktisch überlappen sich die Perioden, aber ungefähr alle zwölf Jahre herrschte eine besondere Entwicklung vor. In dieser Reihenfolge: erst das Bewußtsein, dann das Vital (besonders im Hinblick auf die Ästhetik, aber zugleich eine Studie der Wahrnehmungen), dann das Mental, dann die spirituelle Verwirklichung. Zwischen dem Vital und dem Mental kam die kurze Periode des Okkultismus, der als Übergang und zugleich als Basis für die spirituelle Entwicklung diente.
