Physical description:
Small white flattened tubular two-lipped flowers spotted with purple on the lower lip emerging from broad showy russet bracts - in drooping terminal spikes. An evergreen subshrub with weak stems. Another form,/. brandegeana 'Yellow Queen', has a yellow green bract.
