It is interesting to observe that in painting - a civilisation that saw the Sacred everywhere- saw it primarily in the figure of Gods. And a civilisation that saw the Sacred nowhere could see it in a water jug.

The West- after having contaminated the whole world with their falsehood- will one day take a brillant and dizzying leap over its old idols. For marching onward is its raison d’être.But it will be a sight to see the slaves clinging to ideas that masters have already abandoned.
There is no Truth that man has touched and not despoiled. None.But there is no fall that he is not able to redeem by the sheer power of his Spirit.
Delight in their ways of seeking, don’t be ensnared by their findings.The West has a lot to offer to a seeker, a lot- except True knowledge.
When God wanted to complicate His game a little- he introduced Democracy.
Observing the historical tragedy of Man- filled with so much of stoic heroism- one realises that we had to gracefully succumb to the Iron Law- before we began destroying it.
It is a curious bent of mind that wants the West to get rid of its religion, its symbols, its Gods....but wants us to retain everything of ours....celebrate it....affirm it....flaunt it. When both are equally obsolete for the Future….
While the east was haunted by the Unreal- and diligently worked on cultivating a discerning faculty to recognise and live in the Real- the West danced its way with joy into the Unreal to explore it...document it- and even create some masterpieces of human achievement.Strange that they who so passionately tried to find the Truth- never felt like questioning the very basis of Reality.
The one thing to be really admired in the West is their COURAGE- to take the plunge into matter with so little support of any Light and Knowledge and to continue facing the battering while they hew a path- admirable courage. How much they suffered....but how passionately they continued to seek.
To imagine that Braque found the Italian Renaissance to be decadent-"a period of dispersion and grandiloquence”!
It is not a wonder that the Shakti found so much delight in this civilisation- this ability to shatter idols and move forward….ever forward….conquering peak after peak.
The highest of the Western approach to the Divine Truth is not in their religion and priests but in their art and artists. That is where one should look- and look keenly- to discover some treasures that can yet redeem mankind.

One has to be really crazy to still waste even one drop of their consciousness engaging with the old world.
There is a state of being in Truth where everything is true.
All the action of the mind tends towardsFIXING ideas....a kind of solidifying action..
End of contradictions = the end of the reign of the mind.
The vibration of Ego has to disappear from earth....in men and nations.
To wake up one morning and find oneself to be absent.What a liberation!May only You remain.
What makes us notice all the miseries but not the only Reality?- S.
That turbid false thing running in your veins...We call it life.
Who thinks like that?Who lives like that?Soon humanity will look at itself in bewilderment.
You are the Master of this being and it is time that you become its ruler. Integrally.A child-like wonder at how it could have been otherwise for so long.

When all our falsehood, all our egoism is justified as being a practical necessity- ‘rules of the material plane’- you get a feeling that man is really only a Worm in a wormhole….. and no power on earth can make it give up being that.
No wonder we are going to be surpassed soon.

You reach a point when giving up insistence to achieve the goal is the means to attaining it.Difficult to bear as you have been surviving only by holding on to this tension that tends towards That.
As more and more things become unbearable- perhaps one is supposed to rejoice- 'so this too will now be surpassed'.
What baffles one in this mental way of existing is that you can pretend without truly BEING.So beautiful...so convincing...yet untrue.
It is only on the deathbed that Man attains his true beauty and nobility. There is some truth in there.The rest of his whole life is a huge farce.
A thousand times on this path you find yourself on the verge of madness...a slender thread...Not easy- but nothing else to do.
The old life derives a special pleasure in making you feel disgusted. It's a trap and one ought to overcome it.Stop perceiving what is dying.

When Sri Aurobindo describes the vivid details of the fall of our life and the thousand bonds that shackle us....one feels that He is taking up those chains of our appalling misery in His hands not to chronicle it but to smash it.I almost asked Him - as one would ask a General in a war room- So this is the plan of insurrection?
The same feeling once again- as if the Supreme Lord has become conscious of the travesty that Nature has done with His all powerful Spirit- the compromise that He has allowed for so long on earth- but no longer.The intricacies of the falsehood of our life are described as if to throw a challenge- " I know what you have done and I WILL UNDO IT".And Nature gives a knowing smile with almost a thrill-" Oh at last! He has woken up."
Humanity is possessed by an Asuric force....from the best to the worst elements....that small decent man to the great scoundrel .....possessed by a FALSEHOOD....from which no one escapes.The ego of a man who wants to remain a man will be surpassed no matter who you are- a saint or a sinner.When our whole way of being is false....
