Now in a Moment

Now in a moment of illness I take rest
And concentrating on the sacred Name
Know that somehow we shall survive the test,
The inner beast to conquer or to tame

That Auroville may rise in harmony
Foregoing darkness for the coming light
To become united, eventually to be
One in a unity divine and bright.

Dawn’s children rising above the ego’s role
Approach the sunlight as their warmest friend,
Know most men are an unwilling tool
With at least a thousand faults to mend.

We shall arrive for time is on our side
No more from God our little selves must hide.
