Prayers given by The Mother to Mona Sarkar
The Mother : Contact Prayers to Sri Aurobindo & MA
THEME/S
Bonjour!
Bonjour, Douce Mère.
What have you brought?
Many things, Mother.
Show me . . .
(I give the Mother the calendar of prayers. For the month of November the painting was of the pink lotus named by Her ‘Avatar’ 22.)
Ah, the prayers! (The Mother reads all the previous prayers. She concentrates and then writes:)
Seigneur Suprême Donne-moi ce silence profond, générateur de l’action vraie. Supreme Lord Give me this profound silence, the source of true action.

Supreme Lord Give me this profound silence, the source of true action.
Well, this has come before the last month of the year. Let us see what comes for the next month. If it is this or not.
(The Mother then writes on another sheet of paper:)
Une année a passé et s’achève. Dans le silence profond je t’implore pour que les erreurs passées ne se reproduisent jamais. Avec une gratitude infinie je m’incline devant Toi. A year has passed and is coming to an end. In profound silence I implore Thee that past errors may never be repeated. With infinite gratitude I bow before Thee.

I shall see if this is what comes for the next month. It will be interesting to compare. You keep it here and next time I shall see if the Lord sends me this. Keep it here.
Yes, Mother.
What will come at the end of the year . . .
Mother, since it is the end of the year, I would like You to make a drawing here. (I point to the last blank page of the calendar.)
Me! Draw?
Yes, Mother, a symbolic drawing. Anything You wish to draw.
Me, I don’t draw. No, no, this is impossible. I don’t know how to draw . . .
Mother, what were You telling me about the prayer?
I told you to keep it here and the next time when I will write the prayer for the next month . . . see if this is what comes! It will be very interesting to see. We can then compare the two prayers. That is why I have written it here on a piece of paper.
Yes, Mother. We shall see if this prayer is what comes to You.
Yes, if it is this or something else. Let us see. I don’t say that it will be exactly this that will come. But it will be interesting to compare. Let me look at the prayer once again. Yes, it is good, it is all right. What has come to me today gives me an indication for the next year. It is a prayer for the next year, at least an indication . . .
