Manifestation of the Divine

(I give the Mother the calendar of prayers. Looking at the painting for October, She asks:)

What flower is it?

‘Consciousness Turned towards the Light’ ⁶⁴.

(Then I read to Her the prayer for the previous month and She writes the prayer for this month.)

Tu m'as donné une forme
pour que cette bonne travaille pour toi.
C’est sa vie et sa joie

Thou hast given me a form
so that this form may work for Thee.
That is its life and its joy.

What is this form, Mother?

(Pointing to my body She says:)

He has given you a body, a physical body, the physical existence . . . so that you may work for me . . .

The law, the law of self-giving is to work for the Divine.

(Then I read to Her an experience from my diary.)

Supreme Lord,
I saw in the region of the heart a magnificient pink lotus which seemed to communicate with me.

(After listening to the experience, Mother writes:)

This is just the occasion to repeat:

Thou hast given me a form so that I may work.

He is seated in your heart to guide your work.
