Physical description:
Medium-sized white flower with two elongated horizontal petals, two overlapping lower petals prominently shaded deep yellow (changing to maroon) and a centre of numerous exserted stamens - borne singly from the leaf axils. A profusely blooming spiny shrub with glossy dark leaves.
