This book records conversations which the Mother had with Huta from 1955 to 1973. Huta recorded the talks from memory and sent them the next day to the Mother for corrections. In these revealing talks, the Mother teaches Huta how to live the true inner life and constantly encourages her to overcome her problems and difficulties, to reject the influence of the adverse forces, and to open herself completely to the Divine. In addition, the Mother talks to her about the Future Painting. Also included are a few letters written by the Mother.

One must put a strong will that one ought to do this or that. One must have a strong will to cure and get rid of all Falsehood. As a matter of fact, each one is the creator of his own miseries and happiness.
She plunged into a trance for a few seconds. Upon opening her eyes she smiled and said:
One must have a strong will in order to achieve something. For example, whenever I wished to do something, I usually consulted my grandmother, who lived near Paris in the countryside. Sometime in 1904 I expressed my wish to her to go to Algeria to learn occultism. First of all she refused strongly, because she thought that young women must not go to foreign countries without an escort, and as for occultism she was baffled. But I was determined to go. Then suddenly I took her hands into mine and started reading her palms. I told her all about her past, present and future. She was amazed. I also convinced her of certain things regarding occultism which impressed her immensely. Then not only did she permit me to go but gave me a bagful of money.
She laughed tenderly and added:
So, my child, in each and every thing a strong will is needed.
