Huta

This book records conversations which the Mother had with Huta from 1955 to 1973. Huta recorded the talks from memory and sent them the next day to the Mother for corrections. In these revealing talks, the Mother teaches Huta how to live the true inner life and constantly encourages her to overcome her problems and difficulties, to reject the influence of the adverse forces, and to open herself completely to the Divine. In addition, the Mother talks to her about the Future Painting. Also included are a few letters written by the Mother.

In the evening when I went to The Mother, She said:

‘When you are outwardly weak, that is to say, when your vital is weak, you always like thunder, fight and furious things. On the contrary, if you have a strong vital, you like sweetness and tenderness. Now to keep the balance, these opposite movements are quite necessary. It certainly takes time to be absolutely perfect'.

‘You see, sometimes the same nature has opposite movements. For example, there was a king 1 in France, who was very cruel and unkind to others, while he loved his white kitten very dearly—more than himself. He never hesitated to kill people and shed their blood, but if something happened to his kitten, he started shedding tears.'

Note:

The Mother's talk reminded me of another cruel king: Nero. He had the city of Rome set on fire and watched the conflagration from his terrace. Wanting to show how sad he was, he asked an attendant to bring him a phial. He shed a few tears in it and gave it back to the servant. Then he went into his chambers, fetched a harp, came back on the terrace and played on his instrument claiming to draw an inspiration from the leaping flames.

Nero had no redeeming qualities. He loved nothing but himself
