This book records conversations which the Mother had with Huta from 1955 to 1973. Huta recorded the talks from memory and sent them the next day to the Mother for corrections. In these revealing talks, the Mother teaches Huta how to live the true inner life and constantly encourages her to overcome her problems and difficulties, to reject the influence of the adverse forces, and to open herself completely to the Divine. In addition, the Mother talks to her about the Future Painting. Also included are a few letters written by the Mother.

_I went to the Mother in the morning. After our work on Savitri, she looked at me for a few seconds and said:_
Child, inspiration is always standing above your forehead. When it comes to you, ideas are formed. If you wish to do anything, you must offer all your wishes to the Lord with sincerity and tell Him:
"O Lord, these are my ideas and wishes—so do the best and make them possible"
Your ideas and wishes are partial—in small scale, but when you offer them to the Lord, they become wide and impartial.
All these things can be done in hours—in days—in months or in years' time. Nothing is impossible for the Lord who will do the best—not only the best but the very best.
You must be quiet—very quiet. Eventually everything becomes a miracle. You see, everything is like a curve. At first everything seems impossible but in the end these very things are done miraculously wonderfully by the Lord.
You are blessed, guided, protected.
Be quiet and peaceful. Do not let your mind come in between. If the mind comes in between and gives suggestions, you simply say:
"I do not understand."
