Mother You said so ...

The Mother saw me in the Meditation Hall upstairs. She looked at me and lapsed into a deep trance for a few minutes. On waking she took my hands into hers and said serenely.

Child, you see I had realised or rather reached the occult worlds. I had learnt occultism within a few weeks' time.

When I came to Pondicherry, I did not mention to Sri Aurobindo what I had seen in my visions. Sri Aurobindo expressed exactly what I had seen, in His epic Savitri.

There are two ways; the occult knowledge is rather easier than the spiritual knowledge.

I learnt real spiritual things when I came here. But, of course, there was everything within myself, though not physically.

The Yoga of transformation is very difficult—it takes so many years. To learn occultism one needs a Guru and Guide, while the spiritual life can be transferred to anybody who really deserves it.

We have twelve bodies. I used to go out of them all, one after another to the subtle worlds and gradually come back into them. I became aware of all the details of my bodies, when finally I come back to the physical.

When I saw the beauty and wonders of the Higher Worlds, I thought of expressing them in painting by various colours: blues, golds, pinks and whites with certain vibrations—all in harmony—forming the New World.
