Mother You said so ...

I went to the Mother, and told her: what some people were saying about my drawings and paintings. It was silly of me to depend on their judgment. I was extremely disappointed and wished to give up painting altogether.

She heard me quietly and then gave me a good scolding:

Why do you listen to people? Everyone has his or her own ideas and different points of view and opinions. No one can see the real thing by a true and total sight. The Divine alone can see, know and can do everything. Child, better rely on the Divine alone, who is the best judge and knows better than people do.

Didn't I tell you before that I want you to paint according to my ideas and will?

My girl, you are lucky that you are doing nice paintings. You are a gifted person. The capacity for art is in your blood and it must come out.

Why do you want to lose what has been given to you by the Divine?

Here you must remember that the growth of conscious-ness is indispensable for your painting, because what you learn from books or from professors is of no use until you get into the higher true artistic consciousness.

Also, once the hands become full of consciousness, light and skill, then surely you will draw and paint accurately. Have faith and patience, everything will come in time.

Then she tilted my chin gently and looked deeply into my eyes. After giving me various flowers and a kiss on my forehead she bade me adieu.

Truth is behind everything, for, the Divine dwells in flowers, trees, animals, birds, rivers as well as in human beings—in fact, in every creation of Nature.

You must have the psychic touch to see and feel the vibrations, the sensations and the essence of the truth in everything and that Truth is to be expressed in the Future Painting.

To paint perfectly well is not an easy thing. It certainly takes time. But by the growth of consciousness you can have inspirations, intense vision, delicacy of colors, harmony. The subtlety of true beauty. Then you can surely express wonderful things in painting, otherwise painting will be a lifeless confusion.

The growth of consciousness is essential for doing marvellous paintings.

I told the Mother,

Without seeing the Divine Light how can I paint it?

She smiled and said,

It will come.

Also one must feel by one's soul the vibrations, the sensations and the essence of the things of the creation.

To do perfect painting, it takes time.

By the growth of the consciousness one can feel harmony and when the harmony comes out then it can be expressed nicely.

One must have intense vision, delicacy of colors and harmony in the composition.

Once, if hands become full of consciousness and light, they can do exact things by accurate strokes.

Growth of consciousness is needed for the painting, because whatever one learns from books or from teachers is of no use, until one grows in the true consciousness.

Of course, one should not paint from other pictures. It is not at all good. But directly from Nature, one should copy so that one can get exact beauty of the real thing or of the object.

It certainly takes time to establish the Higher Consciousness. Everything must be done by the Higher Consciousness. But, of course, this cannot be achieved in a minute, it takes years and years.

If you try on your own to attain the Supreme Truth, then it is impossible for you to realize the Divine. It will take eternal time. Nevertheless, here there isn't anything impossible, because the Divine Grace is present; the Grace helps wonderfully. It does not bargain.

You cannot do anything alone. You must put yourself into the hands of the Divine Grace. When you feel lonely, miserable and upset, at once you should call the Divine grace and pray sincerely to the Grace to help and to do everything for you, because it is the Divine Grace which can do everything.

If you put everything into the hands of the Divine Grace, and worry less, you will be all right much quicker.
