There are, in the history of the earth, moments of transition when things that have existed for thousands of years must give way to those that are about to manifest... We are at precisely such a turning-point in the world's history. Just as Nature has already created upon earth a mental being, man, so too there is now a concentrated activity in this mentality to bring forth a supramental consciousness and individuality.

The Mother

Il y a, dans l'histoire de la terre, des moments de transition où les choses qui ont été pendant des millénaires doivent céder la place à celles qui sont sur le point de paraître. ... Or, nous sommes précisément à un de ces tournants de l'histoire universelle; et de même que la nature a déjà créé sur terre un être mental, l'homme, de même c'est dans cette mentalité que l'action se concentre pour donner naissance à une conscience et à une individualité supramentales.

If you have a sincere aspiration to spiritual change in your heart and soul, then you will find the way and the Guide, a mere mental seeking and questioning are not enough to open the doors of the Spirit.

We all who have a common uplifting ideal, shall unite; and in this union and by this union we will face and overcome the attacks of all opposing forces of darkness and devastation. in union is the strength, in union is the power, in union the certitude or Victory.

Nous tous qui avons pour idéal commun de nous surpasser, unissons-nous. Par cette union et dans cette union, nous affronterons toutes les attaques des forces adverses d'obscurité et de dévastation, et les surmonterons. Dans l'union est la force, dans l'union est le pouvoir, dans l'union la certitude de la victoire.

The 24th November is called the day of Victory in remembrance of a very important spiritual event which took place in 1926.

It was the descent of Krishna into the physical.

Krishna is not the supramental Light. The descent of Krishna would mean the descent of the Overmind Godhead preparing, though not itself actually, the descent of Supermind and Ananda. Krishna is the Anandamaya; he supports the evolution through the Overmind leading it towards the Ananda.

This Ashram was created with another object than that ordinarily common to such institutions, not for the renunciation of the world but as a centre and a field of practice for the evolution of another kind and form of life which would in the final end be moved by a higher spiritual consciousness and embody a greater life of the spirit.

Krishna n'est pas la Lumière supramentale. La descente de Krishna désignerait la descente de la Divinité du Supramentale préparant, sans l'être véritablement elle-même, la descente du Supramental et de l'Ananda. Notre Ashram a été fondé dans un but différent de celui qui est en général commun à toutes les institutions de ce genre: non pour le renoncement au inonde, mais comme un centre où puisse s'élaborer et se pratiquer un autre mode, une autre forme de vie qui, au stade ultime de son développement, serait mue par une conscience spirituelle supérieure, et qui concrétiserait une plus grande vie de l'esprit.

The grace and protection are always with you. When in any inner or outer difficulty or trouble do not allow it to oppress you; take refuge with the Divine Force that protects.
If you do that always with faith and sincerity you will find something opening in you which will always remain calm and peaceful in spite of all superficial disturbances.

La grâce et la protection sont toujours avec vous. Quand une difficulté ou un ennui, intérieur ou extérieur, se présente, ne les laissez pas vous oppresser ; réfugiez-vous dans la Force protectrice du Divin.
Si vous le faites toujours, avec foi et sincérité, vous vous apercevrez que quelque chose s'ouvre en vous, qui restera toujours calme et paisible en dépit de toutes les perturbations à la surface.
