Ma douce Mere, The meditation given on the 15th of August76 was very intense and deep. Just in the beginning I felt a deep silence as if someone was squeezing out thoughts. There was also a feeling as if at some great presence the whole Ashram became still and silent. I don't know what it was but it lasted only for a short while. After some time thoughts began again to disturb the mind.

Sri Aurobindo immense and very concrete (in the subtle physical) was sitting over the whole compound during all the meditation.77
