When I was young I felt no fire My life was filled with vain desire, Music first, then flowers blooming Beauty came not unassuming But touched in me the love of light, And yet I tended towards the night, But something deep behind the heart, Allowing none to tear apart The seeking that my life would be, A searching for Divinity. Now time would ask the body to rest But I have found Her and am blessed.
