The integuments we build around our lives And the constant urge of the vital to explore, The mind that in its narrow thinking thrives, It seems that for humanity little more Can be expected or possibly achieved, And yet within this body dwells a soul Unknown to most except when times aggrieved Or the haunting hearing of a call, From far it seems yet though perhaps so near, It pulls the being from its lethargy Counselling to enter without fear Into a world of hope and mystery, A world at peace and non-duality
