Peace and love we must restore Upon embattled man and foe, Expunge the darkness that we store In a mind and body we hardly know. We must keep the altar clean, The detritus of the numbing past, And from the Light's descent must glean Fragments of Truth that will outlast The tattered fabric that we wear As we climb the golden stair.
