With the insolence of early youth I felt I owned the world that I did see, There was no doubt in me, I owned the truth Of song and I moved all souls with melody. The sky was mine and the forbidding sea And I embraced the many who came to me With love I barely returned for deeply sown Within my soul that lived in silence and alone When suddenly a change, a moment's call, And I went without a thought to India And met the eternal Mother of us all And blessed I was to kneel in love to Her.
