I cannot tell it to the sea or sky The syllables I know are not enough Still, I have lived and if soon I must die I will have experienced the smooth and rough
Transitions of a life lived in love. They are now gone an entire family And I alone am left my soul to move With gratitude and humility
Towards the heights promised long ago. Yet here on earth I hardly have progressed And barely learned the path on which I go, With all my failings still by Them am blessed.
I see myself an incompleted tale Half-awake and yet inclined to fail.
