If we are here for change, why change we not? Has man evolved so swiftly from the ape, Or is he rooted in a concrete spot Finding in life no true or real escape.
Two have come, the iron laws to change, Bringing together, a force above the mind, So far above we cannot see its range And in our little world, little we find
To bridge the gulfs ever dividing us. We cannot leap the chasms we have built, Our lives consumed by pettiness and thus We live in streams of pleasure and of guilt.
There is a path gleaming with the Light, Are we strong enough to overleap the night?
