All the tribulations of the day Are recalled incessantly by physical mind And then unconsciously we fall asleep. Our dreams are not remembered in the morn And when another challenging day begins We face again the egoism and hate. Yet some are able darkness to overcome Rising to a state of higher mind Where the world no longer a battlefield Of opposing wills determined to prevail But an atmosphere of settled peace and love Where all is seen dispassionately and known As the ignorant working of the lower mind. Can we ascend to those eternal heights? Resolving the digressions of our nights?
