In Brindhavan where the Gopi's play Krishna came one summer day And stamped upon their hearts His name And so began the timeless game
Of man and God and man's desire Rising like an incense spire To know and live a life of love Petitioning the Lord above
An answer to our fervent prayers To descend once more the heavenly stairs That we again might see His face, Of evil and darkness lose all trace
And taste that moment rare and sweet, Surrendered fully at Her Feet.
