I would no longer embrace the night But live in Thee a servant or slave Grateful for all the gifts you gave And touches of supreme delight.
If I could give and gladly give The metred pulsations of my heart Then I would live and gladly live In Thee yet from no soul apart.
If I could love and truly love All beings as myself and more Then I would into the bliss soar And Love supreme would be my trove
With all the worlds held in my sight. If I could die to death and gain The immortality of Light I would be free from Night's domain.
