I have been inundated with the Light Yet I resist and follow the paths of old No longer seem to know the fractious night If trust and honesty be truly told. I am awash in worlds I do not know, The inner beings appears to have lost way Though I follow the call of the Gardens and I go Into the Chamber at the dawn of day. This path is long and too its arduous climb. From the ego-self I ask release, From vital mind to realms of eternal time To feel the love I know would never cease. If once I could throw off the many veils That screen the spirit from unity with Thee I would realise that nothing in life fails And there will come to earth the harmony Promised to all who tread with feet of clay The razors edge or walk the sunlit path. My aspiration weak I still would say Despite the endless turmoil and men's wrath
