From astral distances a demon came A monstrous form to steal the breath of life. I could not loose his grasp to speak the Name Yet in the battle's pitched and dreadful strife
A momentary respite came "€œ I screamed Mother! and instantly I felt release His hands and nothing I have ever dreamed Or thought or seen could wrest from me the peace
She brought, omnipotence and Love's disdain Of death's grey pall to heal her child in pain.
How many times he came I cannot say, From what unholy avenue arrived, I only know this being lives today In gratitude and by Her grace survived.
