There is an unearthly light I seem to see Of a future beauty that awakes in me Transformed like a visitation at noon The reason of life once barely understood.
Shall we be overly of this world concerned That the peace for which all beings yearned Seems vanished now as evil tightens its grip, Meaningless, unjust supremely bold
To wrest from God his chosen earthly place And hold us victims of a Titan race? I know within their darkened plan is false Insatiate but doomed to death their fate.
