I stood as one whose feet were set in stone So potent was the brilliance of Her smile And in the moment knew that She alone Would heal the ancient ills of earth, the vile
That festers in her womb of sanctity. She bade me enter, I knelt before Her feet And then a force of love enveloped me And suddenly my seeking was complete
For I had found the One my heart had sought Through many a life and death and growth of soul, And though a thousand battles must be fought Before the way is cleared to view the goal
She whom the ages praise prepared my way And cleaved the darkness that companioned me, Redrawing in life's rash unconscious play The map and course of the Spirit's destiny.
The numbness in this current plunge to birth, The new-found wonder and the will to be, And laughter on the marvel-fields of earth, Lull us to a drowse of lethargy.
But they have come, the avatars of love The golden dreams of earth to realize Uncovering the hidden treasure-trove In matter's core, our lives apotheosize.
