Do you remember the vast and giving fields With strawberries we harvested in spring, The forests dark and deep where we found Blueberries as large as a grown man's thumb And the fertile woods where Russian ladies knew The mushrooms that within the forest grew, The beauty of the mountains and the lakes, And the peaceful streams that cooled our aching limbs. I remember these but now I come again To fulfil the task that She has given me To build the Gardens of the Matrimandir.
