As if a zephyr passing by Has blessed my journey to the sky As I upward rose through ignorance Taking up an inner stance To fall from me the limping past And find within the god at last And touch His feet and humbly bow Still not understanding how I was chosen for this path, An uncouth youth filled with wrath Destined for Divinity, And yet I know that They who choose To help a soul whom They might lose Cast on him Supernal Grace Allowing him at his own pace To grow with others of his kind To free him from the physical mind That he might rise into the planes Of higher mind and spirit's gains.
