As floating leaves upon an autumn stream Pass before our eyes and disappear So too these wandering thoughts, vague wisps of dream Shall vanish as the drying of a tear.
For in the calm of mind Thy image place And in the seeking heart Thy peace install, In gratitude let us open to Thy Grace Resist the lower nature's tempting call.
The deepening centre of the inner seeing Where peace surrounds and slowly penetrates The thickened tissue of the ego-being Finds the consciousness of higher states.
We grow and in this turbulent time of change The spirit willingly participates, Gathers the wayward parts to rearrange And all to the living Godhead consecrates.
