If by your Grace we might yet come To know you for whom our spirit yearns That you are the integer and the sum Of our unknowing life that turns As you come to us in our deepest need To challenge and succour our ascent And sow in us Divinity's seed That we may know this life is meant For beauty and for Truth and bliss And all the gods hold ever dear, For man to suffer Godhead's kiss And draw the dawning New World near Is all we can in mortal guise Ascend on earth our paradise.
