I walked in the lovely gardens of Kashmir And listened to the chant of flower song What in this earth do we have to fear When ‘right' can overturn each wrong. I climbed 300 steps to reach the site Of Shankaracharya's enlightened place Yet all I felt was w was dazzling white on white And the descent of a lasting grac, A temple for all those aspiring souls To rise above these earthly gains, As aspiration seeking higher goals, Absolved of all our earthly pains.
