We listen to the voices of the world, A Babel it seems where truth cannot be found Or clarity of purpose higher than Desires of the moment, human greed, Tenuous companionship or less, The fleeting garments of our vain desires. Where is the truth a seeker might yet ask When all our life is built on duality, Our ending a sad remonstrance concluded in death, A door that leads to dark and unknown realms. We must if we wish to energize the soul Approach life from a higher viewing point Seeking a knowledge that transcends the mind And open to the vastness calling us.
