I remember but then I oft forget The gifts supreme Thou hast bequeathed to me Through all the trials with which I am beset. From ages far beyond antiquity You come again the darkness to defeat And in your compassionate infinity Uplift my soul once more to touch Thy feet In gratitude and humility. Lord and Mother assist me in my climb, Let all my days and all my nights be Thine And every breath I take become the sign Of deep surrender offered to the Divine.
