I had lived long in pain and grief After the passing of my wife An angel from some bas relief Companion of my inner life.
The years now quickly fly away And sorrow is supplanted by love Remaining in force day by day As towards the golden Sun I move.
Tender now the memories The brightness of the singing year All sadness from my spirit flies The joy of life replacing fear.
The Mother sustains me with Her hands The touch of grace upon my head As I move now to the blessed lands Of India where I am led.
