Last night as I was listening I felt Once again the force of descending peace In all the turbulence that we are dealt In Auroville, the harmony does not cease. The music, a violin concerto, vast As the sea and opening to the sky, Composed by Samuel Barber and it cast On me such beauty that I cannot deny The moment that the peace entered me. I have felt it many times by Mother's Grace, When I met Sri Aurobindo by the sea, No darkness and no evil can efface Those moments when the Presence lies within That calms the body's turbulence and pains. There no sorrow lies and there no sin For the love and beauty of the Lord remains.
