Oh this list of common things Is too common to be told Yet with them a tension brings Of ingrained habits from the old And worn necessities of time. Man seems bound to commonness And even all his daily dreams Are instances of narrowness Or vague and intermittent streams Of idle desires and wandering thought. But man evolving shall awake, His future destiny will be cought.
