I have failed to do the homework of the soul. The mathematics of the Infinite Have yet to learn, the sole supporting number Of the All. And hardly can I add To this sum of life the vast beatitudes That multiply with each aspiring breath. Division disappears but still the ego Rules in the accounting book of days And must be stricken from final page And in the spirit's ledger summed as nought. To balance all these integers that pass As multiples of earth's variety And know the spirit can alone compute The hidden decimals of divinity. To add to the love of beauty the need for truth As the equation for the spirit's growth, Total the blessings, erase the errors past And exponentially grow towards the light.
