In Auroville I lived to learn and create An ambience of harmony loving all, To wash away the evil tints of hate. In Georgia now, my home, there comes the fall Resplendent in the colors of the leaves In their final homage to the giving earth. Here Nature does not sorrow nor she grieves For beauty lost but looks to coming birth, Knows Winter as a friend who offers rest To all who worship beauty and the light; Fault him not for his cold bequest Spring shall return with bouquets full and bright.
