Beauty came and settled in my soul. It may have been with me in lives before. I saw it first in women with their eyes Fixed on otherness and then a surprise, I saw the beautiful in children and men In the youth and the elderly so called. I visited as well the great museums And at beauty I looked in ravishment. I viewed the work of Picasso and Redon, But through this learning life my being saw The spirit in the flowers shining through, A God-touched splendor of the aspiring life.
