When I approach the hour of my death I will not rail against the gods nor shout But draw in joy the full and final breath And never let the flame of love burn out. I will quietly ascend to realms of peace Knowing time is timeless and the years Of the wondrous inner journey will not cease. For I shall live again and love though tears Attend me as I tread the upward way. A hundred lifetimes nothing if She cast Once more her glance upon me as I pray And rest my head upon Her feet at last.
