I rose up in the twilight hour Seeking the golden spirit's stream And chanced upon an unknown flower With sunrise shades and dewy gleam. Far am I from those estates Of heavenly beauty and surprise Returning to a world that grates Upon my stellar-visioned eyes. For living here in Auroville Where often night betrays the day One must be calm, the peace instill To find the wisdom of the way.
