This coming and going of death and birth and life The music stilled yet only to come again And sing its songs of war's eternal strife And man who lives in sorrow laced with pain.
The Buddhists vow to never again take birth To live above the chaos, evil and strife Forsaking all beatitudes of earth Absconding from the mystery of life.
Where then shall we who once have seen Her Face Forego the journey and deny the soul Who would forge in us the Supramental race, Forget our charge, our one God-given role.
