She spoke to me in tones of liquid gold Of music that was new on earth and pure And of the music of the past She told Of the great composers of the human race,
The chosen ones who captured music's strain From subtle worlds and spheres above our own, And often in their illness and their pain Brought down to earth the songs the Gods had sown
Among the stars, the melodies of love, These sonic gems from higher worlds above.
