The flames of rancour and dissidence ignite Among the people of the City of Dawn In the entanglement of egos how can Light Be established, are all our hopes forlorn?
Auroville yet must wait a hundred years For peace among these warring tribes of men Who have turned from the messages of the seers And locked their souls as in a fetid pen
Where animal nature dominates the way As the harmony of innocents they slay.
