For centuries there has been little growth And man remains a little higher than The animal, but barely so it seems Thwarting or delaying Divinity's plan
To rise above the ego and be free, Surrendered in joy to peace and the spirit's gain To heights that physical mind can never know, Above all human illnesses and pain.
A time will come when a few will take the leap And the sacred promise of the Lord will keep.
