In the night and in the dawning come Sri Aurobindo Lord, our future's destiny Crown thy children with a laurel diadem In this New World on earth achieved by Thee
And Her whom Thou hast named Mother of All Allow us who alone would serve Thy Will Who take two steps before we stumbling fall And all our hearts with Love's great vision fill
That we before Her may begin to rise Into those realms of Truth and Unity And the unseeing world take by surprise All evil forces with alacrity
In us repel and by Thy Grace subdue That all may see Thee with the chosen few.
