That the wars of ignorance may cease Descending upon earth a nobler kind Imbued with majesty and surpassing Grace, A being bathed in Supramental light Who fears not death, darkness or destiny, Conquering falsehood, absolved from the clutch of night, A paradigm of divine felicity. Let all come near who aspire for change in man To rise from animal self to Godhead's plan. And speak the Truth in all its radiance, Abhor distortion on this destined globe, Let truth in all its radiance shine out With love and beauty as it's glowing robe And evil from its sanctuary rout. These are my prayers that call for lasting peace Amidst the inconscient movements of the mind And the vital lusts of power that do not cease Attempting obstruction of the higher kind And God's descent upon our sacred soil For which the spirit on this earth doth toil.
